Victoria Community Cemetary

Victoria is about 12 miles north of Elba on AL Hwy. 125. Coming from Elba, turn left (north) onto Coffee County Rd. 215. The cemetery is located behind the original church building, now the Youth Center. After you turn onto CR 215, there is a sharp left curve, to your left is the cemetery. The cemetery was established around 1856, some of the older graves did not have permanent markers and have been lost. Click on the picture or the link below to go to the web site for a roster of graves as of April 2008. The list begins at the front (east) and is worked row-by-row toward the back. Sometimes the rows were not very straight. In some places it seems that the graves were not put in rows at all. The old section of the survey was completed first and continued with the new part that is near the road. A new section on the west side, in back of the old part, has been created, but no graves are there yet. The survey is complete, if you see a mistake, please e-mail Kathy King at kking1947@hotmail.com. Updates will continue to be made as changes occur.
